βΆοΈ Watch the Video Guide:
Preparing your model correctly before uploading ensures a smooth conversion to .urta
format and reduces chances of errors or visual issues.
Here are key tips for getting the best results on :
Only .glb
and .gltf
formats are supported at this time.
Use a tool like Blender to export or convert other formats (e.g., .fbx
, .obj
) to .glb
.
Keep files under 100MB when possible
Limit polygon count to improve load time and viewer performance
Bake animations and transforms into the model before export
Avoid large texture atlases unless necessary
Use descriptive filenames (e.g., futuristic_chair_v2.glb
)
Avoid spaces or special characters (#
, %
, &
) in filenames
Include versioning (_v1
, _final
, etc.) if you'll be managing multiple uploads
Use embedded textures in .glb
files
Stick to PBR workflows when possible (Base Color, Metallic, Roughness)
Keep image dimensions power-of-two (e.g., 512x512, 1024x1024)
Ensure texture names donβt conflict
Align your model's forward axis to +Z and up axis to +Y
Scale your model so it loads at a natural real-world size
Reset transforms and apply scale/rotation before export
Center the model's pivot point if possible
β
Open your .glb
in a viewer like
β
Check for orientation, textures, and overall scale
β
Confirm animation (if included) plays as expected
