▶️ Watch the Video Guide:
After converting your 3D model to .urta
format, you can use it in any URT3D-supported runtime. This page shows where and how to work with your .urta
files — from testing to full integration.
.urta
Files.urta
is a portable runtime format that works across:
Unity (via URT3D SDK)
Bonfire (drag-and-drop publishing)
Web players (coming soon)
Custom runtimes (via SDKs)
Desktop 3D viewers (basic visual check only)
If you’ve installed the URT3D Unity SDK:
Drag your .urta
file into the Unity Project window
Drag it from Project into the Hierarchy to place it in the Scene
Select the object and check the Inspector: 🔹 View attached Traits 🔹 View attached Scripts 🔹 Preview and interact in Play Mode
For a quick check before integration:
Open the .urta
file in your system’s 3D viewer (basic visual only — no interactivity)
Confirm the model displays as expected with correct scale, orientation, and geometry
Use naming and folder structure to organize your files for reuse
Upload .urta
assets to your Bonfire library
Drag and place into experiences
No coding required — just use Traits and logic to build interactive scenes
